introduction

Over the past two years, Middle College has become my second home. When I first joined, I was a shy girl who always followed the likes of others, and was too afraid of even speaking in front of the class. Since then, I've been exposed to so many leadership opportunities, from Middle College Effect to photographing at every event to running Yearbook, that I grew to learn leadership and communication skills, as well as bred a passion for pursuing my own path in art despite people's efforts to tell me I might not succeed. I also made friends with some of the most caring and passionate intellectuals that I am so excited to continue my journey with. Overall, Middle College helped me to see that I am at the forefront of my own life. I shouldn't let anyone else dictate what's good for me, because I'm the only one who can foresee my future.

As of now, I plan to continue pursuing my dream of dual majoring in graphic design and photography at Parsons School of Design in New York, with an emphasis on human interaction and liberal arts.
